Having just tried this in EndNote, which allows you to pick from a huge number of citation and bibliographic styles, here’s a citation, and the corresponding reference. Firstly, the initial citation has a lead author name and then a year, thus: (M Ibid., in legal writing, and elsewhere, is used to show that a citation is being taken from the exact same page or paragraph (whichever unit is being cited) as is pinpointed in the source directly preceding it.
